We purchased 2 of these. Both were completely sealed without rips. One took FOREVER to warm up. The other never warmed up. We had more luck with the smaller cheap ones that we bought in bulk from a warehouse club. That being said, we didn't use this feature of the Snuggle Puppy after the warmers ran out.
